Garth Marenghi’s Terrortome ★★★☆☆
Read with extreme caution.
It’s a good time but it lacks the punch that Darkplace has without the the dodgy framing, editing and scene pacing. Making the protagonist an obvious author stand-in is a fun way of making the character of Garth Marenghi more directly involved in the text, but it creates a strange dissonance where it seems like the voice of the text has much more awareness of his own flaws than his self-insert does.
