Columbo S8 ★★★☆☆

Only four episodes. The first two feel like a return to form, with interesting gimmicks and twists on the formula. I love the surreal confrontations between Columbo and Brady in “Murder, Smoke and Shadows”, but things start to peter out after that with a disappointing back half.
