Bit ★★☆☆☆

I wanted to give this another chance but it’s just not a hugely enjoyable watch. Everyone is giving just a flat, boring delivery and it’s so universal across the cast that I feel like it must be a problem with the direction rather than the actors and some core plot points feel very underdeveloped. Duke’s hypocrisy is core to the plot and messaging of the film but we never really see her that much evidence of it other than fucking Dracula showing up and telling us that she’s apparently been sneakily glamouring everyone and the pretty serious conflicts and resentments between Laurel and her family just get dropped immediately when it’s time for the finale and are never discussed again.
