Normal Golf Game ★★★★☆

My partner had this game on her Steam wishlist, and when they got a notification that it was on sale, they asked me if I had been the one to recommend it to her. I can see why she made that assumption when I possess both a fondness for games with awkward, physical control schemes and weird golf, but I had actually never heard of the game before. I watched her play a lot of it and knew that I would want to experience myself.

I really love the UI, the maximalism off all these different segments tracking different parts of one’s shot and having to juggle positioning, angle, swing and posture together. The greenscreen video for the player character is also wonderfully charming. The golf is tricky, but manageable, an very satisfying to hone.
