Dæmons of the Shadow Realm S1 ★★☆☆☆

Has an interesting premise but feels meandering and overloaded with characters who have had little to do, only a few of which are particularly fun or interesting. The scattering of minor voice actors from Fullmetal Alchemist doesn’t help shake the feeling that it’s a lesser work from Hiromu Arakawa. I do love Gabby, though, and I would be willing to give a second series a chance to pick up.
