The Jankword

I’ve linked to Jank a couple of times. They’re a great voice in games writing and podcast is very fun too. A bit over a week ago they posted a cryptic crossword and with it a little primer on how to solve cryptic crossword clues. I finally got around to doing it today and it took me just under two hours, 1°59′23″ to be exact according to the timer, though it did not have my full attention for that time. I think it struck a good balance of being manageable while still taking a decent amount of mental effort and it had the nice bonus of making Caoimhe³ groan in pain on the sofa next to me every time I explained one of the solutions to her.
