X-Men ’97 S2 ★★☆☆☆

It is a nostalgia bait show but I am not immune to nostalgia. I have enjoyed it but the pacing is a bit much. I understand that they want to adapt and move through different eras of comics but with only eight episodes and this many shifts in the status quo it feels like half the episodes are entire story arcs compressed down into too short a time and most episodes also revolve around the Apocalypse plotline when Apocalypse is a really boring villain.
